Getting on Google is a priority for all our customers, but it takes time due to rules Google has in place to stop rogue traders setting up sites, getting to the top of Google and then disappearing.

There are lots of things you can do to speed up Google finding you and make the most impact when you are listed. We recommend looking at the following videos and then clicking on "Search Engine Optimisation" in your Dashboard:
To answer your questions:
1) If you place links to your site on other sites (e.g. forums like http://www.outdoorsmagic.com/search/forum/ben-macdui/1 or http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/munros/ben-macdui), then you have a better chance of speeding up Google listing www.benmacdui.com. Make sure you always use the full www.benmacdui.com text in the forum post.
2) You can change all the page headings (called page titles) in the "Search Engine Optimisation" tab in your Dashboard.
3) benmacdui.holidaysitebuilder.com will appear first, but we normally find the customer site ranks higher about a month after registering a domain. Completing the tasks in the "Search Engine Optimisation" tab in your Dashboard will help greatly.
Hope this has answered your questions. Please do not hesitate to ask us any further questions. The best way to contact us is to click on the "Support" tab on the left of every page.
Holiday Site Builder
Question: Hi, you have registered our domain www.benmacdui.com, which works fine. I appreciate that getting up the search engine rankings will take time, but i was surprised that a google search on "benmacdui" does not find the site. When I put "benmacdui.com" it does appear, but does not show the "www." at the start which seems strange? Can this be changed? Also the heading comes up as Holiday home website managed by the property owner - can this be changed? Finally when I search on "benmacdui holiday" our domain does not appear, but benmacdui.holidaysitebuilder does - I assumed this would go once our domain name was registered?
